07:28 AM ET 10.28 | Yes, the Rangers are only now preparing for their first home game of the season. [When] the puck drops Monday night for the belated home opener against the Canadiens, Henrik Lundqvist will be in nets for the Blueshirts after a week of rehabbing an unidentified injury. "I feel good, [the injury] is not something I'm thinking about any more," Lundqvist said on Sunday. ... Rick Nash, concussed, remains sidelined indefinitely. Ryan Callahan, who skated on his own without a stick before Sunday's practice, is probably about three weeks away. Carl Hagelin, rehabbing from offseason shoulder surgery, is eligible to come off the long-term injury list Tuesday at the Coliseum, but might not return for another game or two after that. But Lundqvist is good to go immediately for the Blueshirts.

Glad to hear he is okay, and I am sure the NYRs are happy about it, as well.

I'd like to see more of Talbot first, but I agree.

For the love of all things Canadian, what the hell does A.V. see in Pyatt?

Can someone explain it. Because I dont understand.

Yeh, MSG got some $ from Chase so they built a weird "cat walk" type of thing with seats over the ice

I wonder the same...Torts played him too....we need more Dominic Moore, less Pyatt

A couple of years ago when Pyatt played for the Nux his fianc??e was killed in a car accident. Then the Nux shipped him to Phoenix. I'm thinkin' AV feels guilty.

"...Henrik Lundqvist will be in nets..."

I'm sure it's just a typo, but goosh darn wilikers the Rangers have enough troubles defending just one, and the guy is coming off injury doesn't seem fair for him to have to tend multiple goals.

Wasn't he close to Luc Bourdon too? That's some heavy stuff to deal with.

I don't know how close they were Danny but Taylor played a couple dozen games with Luc when he was called up and went through a couple training camps too.

Heavy indeed.

Wow---sad news. I was unaware. Thanks for that tid bit.

A.V. is giving him a ton of ice time since the beginning of the season and he just isnt producing. I like him as a player but he just looks lost out there.

Spiny, Kreider was good for a lil bit there in the 3rd. There is one particular shift that stuck out when AV rolled out Kreider and JT (cant remember who the center was) but they had a good 30 sec. shift on the forecheck.

Talbot got the "Pimp Hat" on Saturday night

Terrible. He had lots of time out here to sit and stare out into the desert and get over it.

speaking of the NYPost, did anyone see the article about how Canada and the U.S. should merge. I breezed past it, but I believe it was written by Diane Francis

My Brother was able to land tickets in Calgary last week for 1 of 3 sold out John Cleese shows. It is Cleese's swan song tour. My Brother said it was absolutely amazing. #jealous
