06:37 PM ET 10.28 | The Miami Dolphins lost wide receiver Brandon Gibson during the first quarter of Sunday's loss to the New England Patriots. The torn ligament in his knee has ended his season and opened up the possibility that the Dolphins trading for a wide receiver to fill the now vacant roster spot. General manager Jeff Ireland could chose to promote a receiver from their practice squad, Nate Palmer or Ryan Spadola. Palmer was signed last week. If the Dolphins decided to trade for a receiver there would be several options. New York Giants receiver Hakeem Nicks and Cleveland Browns receiver Josh Gordon aren't two of them though. Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt could be an option and wasn't ruled out however. Of course the Dolphins could be content with their pass catching duo of Mike Wallace and Brian Hartline.

Can't imagine what Miami has as good bait for such a trade.

These articles are silly.

If a team WAS trying to make a deal, they would say they aren't going to be making a deal.

If a team was NOT trying to make a deal, they would say they aren't going to be making a deal.

They're not going anywhere if they remain content with Wallace and Hartline.

The analyst seem to forgot, most teams don't have the money and or the need for compensay picks now when they will come at the end of the season anyways.
