07:11 AM ET 10.29 | The Eagles jumped out of the gate in a hurry this season, but Chip Kelly's offense hasn't recorded so much as a touchdown over the past two weeks. Kelly didn't take this as a sign that the league has adjusted to his system. "I don't think people have figured out [our offense]," Kelly said. "You can turn the tape on and watch six games of whoever you play, I can tell you what they're going to do. I can tell you what Peyton Manning is going to do. You still have to stop them. They still have to execute." When Jason Avant was asked after Sunday's game what has happened with the offense, the Eagles receiver gave credit to defensive coordinators for analyzing what the Eagles do well and adjusting accordingly. Avant said Kelly must and will adjust, and the players need to make plays.

Smoke and mirrors.

It's never good to be in denial and not face the facts. Good luck Chip!

Let's see, they're not even half-way through the season, and their backup to the backup is already starting. System? The only system that's been worked out in Philly is getting Vick off the field and on to the gurney.

After he has totally screwed up the Eagles and his NCAA suspension is over, he'll be running back to college as fast as he can go.

They ran an incredible number of plays in the first half of the first game, it seems like they aren't going any faster than anybody else in the NFL. 3 and outs just don't take that much time to execute.

Chip Kelly's offense will not work in the NFL, He's not the first one to bring this type of offense to the NFL.

On the other hand this HOT CLICKS CHICK would work anywhere>>>>>

Vick's injury was arguably the system. Both then again Vick gets injured from running around every year - regardless of the coach.

Nick Foles was injured while trying to throw a pass - not from scrambling downfield or doing anything read option related.

Children's birthday parties and funerals?

Chip is not the first college coach to find hard times in the NFL. Spurrier anyone?

He's biding his time until it's safe to go back to the NCAA.

Chip Kelly was handed a porous defense in Philly and I wouldn't blame him if he was losing in shootouts. But the defense is no longer the problem. Over the last two weeks they held Dallas to 17 points and New York to 15 (no offensive touchdowns).

If Chip Kelly's offense was living up to the hype he should have no problem winning those games. And therein lies the problem: Chip Kelly is an alleged "offense guru", he took over a team chock full of offensive weapons, and the offense has been just plain ugly the last two weeks:

They've scored 3 total offensive points over the last two games combined.
Those 7 points scored against NYG? Special teams, not offense.

He wants to talk about how good of a play caller he is... meanwhile, he's trying to run the read-option with Matt Barkley. And for all this uptempo hurry-up talk, I can't remember the last time Philly was actually rattling off plays at an Oregon-pace. NFL defenses have figured out Chip Kelly's offense, but the reality is he hasn't made it all that difficult to stop.

Yup, one half of one game they looked futuristic. Now they look like Tampa.

Revolving door situation at the QB position has to be settled.
