07:13 AM ET 10.29 | Not many players know the Clippers as well as Chris Kaman knows the Clippers. He spent eight seasons with them, an eternity among so many losing seasons (seven), but he was an All-Star in 2010 before being traded in the Chris Paul deal a year later. The Clippers dominated the Lakers last season, sweeping all four games by an average of 13 points, and became the basketball buzz of the town by adding Coach Doc Rivers during the off-season. It's a Clippers town now? Not according to Kaman. ... "I respect what they're doing and what they've done, but still, they're nothing like the Lakers," Kaman said Monday. "You look up here at all the championships. They're never going to have that. It's never going to happen. I don't see it. There's just something about the Lakers. The history behind everything."

Don't you love how all this Clipper castoffs continually chime in on this subject? It is true. The Lakers will ALWAYS be the #1 team in California...in any sport. However, it's also true that the Lakers are the worst Nba team in California THIS Season. But, let all those title banners , that he had no part in , keep Kamen warm and snuggly...lolGet ready for your close-up, Son.

These players are sounding more like their fans... Funny stuff

Unless laker fans are complete frauds......
No one is jumping ship
That being said, young kids who only root for winning current teams may start rooting for the clips

For the actual season, though, not sure why history is relevant

I'll never jump ship. We may never win again but my heart will always be Purple/Gold.

Who is your team du jour wagon master?

He joined up with Brotha68's Nomad club.

I forgot the Smith brothers are together in NY so he'll probably go back to his Orange/Teal...

Or Orange/Turquoise, or what ever that blueish color is.
