07:49 PM ET 10.30 | Following his war with Junior dos Santos in the main event of UFC 166, heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez was reportedly delivered a six month suspension from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) for a possible jaw fracture. Velasquez's camp was confused by the report and said they were not aware of any jaw injury for the champ, so the uncertainty loomed as we all searched for answers. Now, we have those answers. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation is saying that they incorrectly posted the results to the initial medical tests, which caused the erroneous report about Velasquez's six month suspension. With the initial diagnosis, Velasquez would have been suspended until April 18, 2014, but now he will be eligible to resume training Nov. 3 after serving the mandatory three-days-per-round cautionary suspension.
