07:23 AM ET 10.31 | Tuesday's trade deadline came and went, and Hakeem Nicks remained in New York. While he hasn't left yet, it's only a matter of time before he does. Appearing in studio for Wednesday's edition of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN, Giants offensive lineman David Diehl addressed whether Nicks will remain in New York come 2014. "Unfortunately I don't see it happening," Diehl told Erik Kuselias. "I would love to see it, he is like a brother to me, he lived with me when he first got drafted by the Giants because we have the same agent. So I knew him coming out of college But for the sheer fact that we just paid Victor Cruz, there is a lot of money to be had and Hakeem Nicks is a No. 1 receiver and someone is going to pay him that money."

Maybe a #1 receiver in NY.......My guess he is going to be picked up by New England.

Skins could use some good WR's next season.... But Nicks doesn't come to mind.

Only if he is willing to lower his demands. The Dark Lord doesn't go for divas.

And neither Moss nor Ocho got diva money, either.

I could see him in Atlanta. Teams with high octane pocket QB's need more than a couple #1's to make it through a season.

If he's a #1 receiver, he sure isn't showing it on the field. Mayb in the dining facility.

I see it the same as Diehl. Always did. The Giants have used the tag once since it came about and Nicks wants more than market value. They will offer him Cruz money and he will turn it down.

Doubt it 50. He's still bitter about the Cruz contract and for them to shell out that kinda dough for an injury prone receiver aint gonna happen. HEEEEE'S OUTTA There!!!!!

If he could catch for crap, they'd be number two hands

Good explanation on one of the networks the other day for lack of trades in NFL. Unlike other sports the player has to fit into the current scheme; can he play right away? Is there room for the cap? What do I have to trade inregards to draft choices? Draft choices are iffy; never know what you may get.

You would be correct, sir.

Never know, he's lowering his stock a lot this season with drops. Add that he's injury prone he could come back on the cheap. Whoever pays him #1 money better have depth at WR.
