Wild captain demoted

07:42 AM ET 10.31 | The return to the Wild lineup of Charlie Coyle comes with an advantage for coach Mike Yeo: flexibility. That became apparent Wednesday when, for the first time since Zach Parise joined the Wild, his usual centerman, Mikko Koivu, was on a different line. When the Wild plays Montreal on Friday, not only is Coyle expected to return after missing 11 games because of a sprained knee, the second-year forward is expected to center Parise. Koivu centered a line with Nino Niederreiter and Kyle Brodziak on Wednesday. "I can't say I was too surprised," said Parise, second on the Wild with six goals. ... Parise leads the Wild in scoring with nine points in 13 games. Koivu is tied for second with eight points. But while they have spent a lot of time in the offensive zone, they haven't been productive at even-strength.

Nope. Not watching it. Leafs just won in CGY for the first time since 2002. Not letting this ruin that.

And the streak comes to an end.....

Of course, I'm talking about Lupul getting injured. :)

Check again Saturday. It's a local game for you, so it should be on TV there...

Of course it's on TV here. But apparently it would upset the space-time continuum if the Leafs weren't on the CBC at 7 pm Eastern so it's a freakin' afternoon game. Sigh.....

I completely agree, that is such a slap in the face to Ottawa and Montreal. Vancouvers home games should be played when they want to play it, they shouldn't have to change because of the Leafs. This actually sickens me.

Snippy? I speak the truth Grasshopper.

You'd think the "Centre of the Universe" could stay focused past 9 pm.

And last night Calgarians had barely finished slaughtering supper and the game was starting.

Wild captain demoted

However, the Mild Captain kept his position?

Why's it a slap in the face? Because there are more Leaf fans than Hab fans? Because Ottawa isn't a real city and nobody wants to watch the Sens self destruct?

I concur Danny,

absolute joke, they shouldn't have to rush home from work to catch a game played at home. I have hated the Leafs forever and this doesn't help any
