04:58 PM ET 10.31 | Before the regular season for baseball ended, Jason Giambi told reporters that he would like to return to the Cleveland Indians even though they're moving forward with young talent. Having Giambi on your bench gives you a pinch hitter who is capable of either extending the lead or tying it depending on the situation you're in, so it would make sense for both sides. It looks like Giambi's plea paid off. The Cleveland Indians announced today that they have re-signed Giambi, but to a minor league contract with an invitation to Spring Training.

He just wants to play. It's nice to see someone who doesn't lose their passion.

He actually hit 3 HRs in 14 ABs as a PH, it was as a starter at DH that he was useless. Still seems like a waste of a roster spot despite the one huge HR.
