05:12 PM ET 11.01 | Munenori Kawasaki is one of the most liked and respected Toronto Blue Jays players on this roster. Not only is he liked by the players in the clubhouse, but the fans adore him. The 32-year-old Japanese infielder moved from Japan to the United States as he first signed with the Seattle Mariners in 2012 after spending 10 professional years in Japan. Kawasaki played for the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks from 2001-2011 where he hit a career .294 with 1,343 hits, 27 home runs, 369 RBI and 267 stolen bases. Now after spending a season with the Toronto Blue Jays and having one of the best Jays moment of the entire season, Kawasaki may be on his way back to Japan once again. The Blue Jays declined the $1 million option for him to return in 2014.

You gotta be kidding. Kawasaki was one of the best things the Jays had going last year. Fan favorite who always seemed to come of with the big hit. I am a Jays fan for life but this move doesn't make sense !!!
