05:19 PM ET 11.02 | The New York Jets are coming off of an embarrassing loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8, but owner Woody Johnson doesn't appear to be too concerned about the direction of the team. In his latest comments, Johnson has said that he believes the Jets are continuing to get better and that the rapid improvement from his team can't be ignored. Johnson is right about one thing - this is a young team. As for the improvement, I'm not so sure. It is hard to tell how well this team is improving with their wild inconsistencies. One week the Jets look like a top threat in the AFC, while other weeks they look like the lowly franchise that we were expecting them to be when the season begin.

Well, it would be hard for them to get worse!

One week it looks like Rex might save his job; the next week the J-E-T-S get blown out by 40 points.

I guess "improvement" is a relative term.

Woody is on some kind of Denial medication!

I thought they'd be Jacksonville north. In that respect, they have improved.

But the Jets still suck.

I guess Woody skipped last weeks game.

Improvement Yes, Rapid No!

Are JJ and Woody in some type of competition for the comment of the week?

Either that or the booze in the owners box is extremely potent. He could've been interviewing Pelini for a job, too.

I think Dexter Manley already won that.

Must have been a verbal comment then.

I'll give a little credit to them (emphasis on "little") for letting Geno Smith play during a throwaway year. Yeah, he makes rookie mistakes, but he seems fearless and by all accounts works hard.

Who ever replaces Rex at the end of the season will have some glimmer of hope.

On the other hand, when JJ hires Rex next year as HC, that'll be fun. Rex's ego is bigger than that stadium's jumbotron.

Lol!

To Dexter's credit, I bet he knows the metric system pretty good when making purchases in DC street corners.

Rapidly improving at what?

...and he spent a very sad year getting his butt kicked in the CFL whilst playing for the Ottawa Rough Riders. The metric system is all the rage it appears up there.

must be the same stuff Todd Haley is on....

And if Woody needs more, it's under Jamarcus Russell's car seat.

I forgot about that year he played up there.

If there ever was an indictment against our border security, it's letting Manley back in.
