05:15 PM ET 11.03 | Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon, who was suspended for the first four games of the regular season for violating the league's substance abuse policy, was suspended indefinitely last week and will miss the remainder of the season after once against violating the NFL substance abuse policy. Blackmon will be eligible to apply for reinstatement at the beginning of the 2014 season, but first he has some plans to take care of his problems off the field. According to reports, the troubled Jaguars receiver is set to enter a rehab facility. Like San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith earlier this year, it is a step that needed to be taken. There is no denying Blackmon's talents on the field, but he has been trouble off the field and the issues are taking away from his paycheck and playing time.

Maybe Dez can mentor him.

As long as he takes this rehab more seriously than LiLo did hers he should be okay.

The guy is a drug addict. He knows he will be tested; he knows what will happen if he fails; and he still takes drugs. I wish him well in rehab.

Blackmon is a bust.

But he apologized. Shouldn't that make everything ok?

After he had that breakout game when he returned from his last suspension, many of us commented he was one touchdown celebration away from another DUI.

If he is tested while he is on indefinite suspension he may never get off of it. Rehab works for a small number of people. If you look at Blackmon's past, the Lilo comparison is spot on.

Why not just have the balls to write, 'Blackmon while serving four games suspension failed another drug test' and is done for a year now.
