07:29 AM ET 11.07 | It's no secret that the pro game continues to borrow more often through the college game's creativity. The NFL is searching for ways to be more creative schematically, and teams have been mining college football for the best ideas. ... One college coach highly sought after last off season and will continue to be is Penn State's Bill O'Brien. But, O'Brien's return to the NFL isn't likely to happen in the near future. "@ScottBrown_ESPN: Bills coach Doug Marrone said during conference call that he expects Bill O'Brien to stay put at Penn State." ... The NFL is particularly interested in O'Brien for multiple reasons. First, O'Brien was a successful offensive coordinator with the Patriots before he accepted the Penn State position. Second, O'Brien has proven to be a true leader and a skilled coach.

I foresee Jason Garrett being fired after this season. Jerry Jones will make BO'B an offer he can't refuse.

Really? Romo's playing better, the defense looks stout enough (Detroit loss was an embarrassing fluke). Cowboys look odds-on to take NFC East. Hm.

Ironclad is strong, but there are some obstacles to BOB leaving in the next year or two. A rich owner could make a good run, but the smart ones will likely wait another year to reduce the buy out. I also get the sense that BOB won't jump for just any franchise. He wants a solid ownership group and a core of players with potential. That's why he turned the Browns and Eagles down.

B.O'b seems like he is the perfect fit for PSU. He is just the man they needed to lead them thru the post scandal era and beyond. He will start to get more and more talent as the scholarships become available.

Who in their right mind would want to work for the meddlesome JJ???

When 'Jerrah' finally croaks, he'll be right down below with Al Davis driving the devil crazy with all his meddling! LOL
