Stanford may not see Redd

07:21 AM ET 11.11 | Not since 2008 has USC beaten Stanford, a memorable finish that included the infamous "What's your deal?" exchange. [USC's] defense will be bolstered against Stanford if end Leonard Williams returns from a shoulder injury that kept him sidelined against Cal. Orgeron said the sophomore is expected to play Saturday. Tailback Silas Redd, however, is questionable because of a knee injury suffered against Cal. If Redd does not play, and Tre Madden remains sidelined because of a hamstring injury, Javorius Allen and freshman Ty Isaac would be the only available scholarship tailbacks. Trojans players sounded confident after the victory over Cal. "We handled our business, and Stanford is coming off a big win," freshman safety Su'a Cravens said. "We've got momentum rolling. It's going to be a great game."

Probably the same reason every other kid who left. Funny thing is, I have not seen anyone other than Silas take heat for it. Can anyone explain the reason for that???

I noticed that too. Probably since he went to a 'high profile' school like USC.

Does USC need Redd??? They have Madden, Isaac, Davis and that kid from Florida (Allen). IMO, USC is pretty well set at RB. Another thought, I'm not too sure USC can run the ball against Stanford, regardless who is at RB.

Would you have stayed at Penn State, knowing what you know now??

We need him this week, but past that, we are pretty set at RB

That's DEFINITELY gonna be tough to do. Maybe we can surprise them like they did to us several years ago. Would be kool to be the spoiler for once. heh heh

Yeah, I would love to see USC win out, but I don't think they can. It would be great to see them finish at 10-3 and in the BCS top 25.

I haven't noticed any heat?

I know OU got a WR (Justin Brown) and TU got a kicker (who was lame last year)...but at the time I had the feeling that everyone understood why and approved.

Should be a great game. And Redd...had every right to move on. Penn State should focus on fixing its problems. Show some class and wish the guy well.

Hey Silas all Penn State is rooting for your injury to heal slowly. Worst wishes from all Penn State fans.

At least Silas Redd has given Penn St. something to cheer for, because without him they have nothing.

Buck Allen looks like the real thing. How old is this guy? He looks like a man, not a college guy.
