FSU's best team ever

07:23 AM ET 11.11 | Long-time Seminoles defensive coordinator Mickey Andrews' perspective should not be taken lightly. Not many can place this year's stellar FSU team in a historical context better than [Andrews], who was inside some of college football's greatest locker rooms from 1984-2010. He still lives in Tallahassee, frequents FSU practices and attends home games. If you think this group belongs in the school's best-ever conversation, Andrews can validate that inclination. "As far as talent goes, they might have the best we've ever had," Andrews said. "As far as depth, too." The 1993 and 1999 championship teams led by quarterbacks Charlie Ward and Chris Weinke are known as FSU benchmarks, meaning FSU likely needs a 14-0 march into BCS folklore to surpass those teams.

Don't take a hit BB. Except for a blackjack, 21 is as good a hand as you can get.

Salute to all Vets! God bless....

Yeah and the kardashians have "talent" too.

If I'll concede anything to FSU and 'Bama, BB, it would be on this point about depth. tOSU's sanctions/scholarship reductions, while not as drastic as USC's, have had the effect of making the Bucks thin at a couple of positions, notably LB and OL.

Just don't know if tOSU could hang for four quarters with these two juggernauts.

Tell you what, JS -- you change your moniker to "Vandy??? Really???", and I'll change mine to "Oh so near to WVU?? Really???" -- won't that be fun?

November 11, 2013  09:09 AM ET

Actually, I am appreciative that FJJ didn't choose "Vandy? Really?"

You could always change it to "BYU? Really?"

That always fits. ;)

I'm just waiting for LUS to show up, good grief he's gonna be insufferable on da Gatuhs.

That's all right. We've got plenty of ammo in reserve to sling at his Bayou Bungles. <grumble, grumble>

At least they are 6-3 but our signature win is OU. ; o

I guess we could pick on LUS. They have losses to two teams that were unranked

Gonna be FSU vs Bama for the NC, no contest, Bama 35 to 18.
