08:13 PM ET 11.11 | Los Angeles Lakers point guard Steve Nash is an aging veteran in the game, but it was expected to be his show to run in Los Angeles until star Kobe Bryant was able to return from the ruptured Achilles tendon he suffered at the end of last season. Unfortunately for Nash, the injuries are beginning to pile up and he hasn't been able to showcase the talents he has to the best of his ability. Now, he isn't even sure when he can return to the line up after leaving Sunday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves with back pains.

Mr. Nash,
You were once the best PG in the NBA. Those days are long gone. Retire before you further embarrass yourself.

Signed,

I'm glad he went to LA and didn't come to NY. We have enough problems.

Happy Veterans day Steve. Why are you still in uniform?

I see the Lakers buying out his contract, he was once a great player but at 39-40; its hard to recapture the glory days! Nash is totally ineffective even when he says "he's healthy". The guy is all but finish and if he does not want to believe it he should take a serious look in the mirror. Gasol's skills have deminished and Kobe will get a look at his former self when he returns from injury. Face it; it time to rebuild the Lakers and acquire other star players and possibly a superstar player to make another run next season and seasons to come. The Lakers were blown out in the first quarter by the Timberwolves (47) points.

It's good to rest Nash and let the young-bucks get more playing time. When he returns he should come off the bench...
