07:15 AM ET 11.12 | Brandon Marshall hasn't been shy about expressing his thoughts on the Lions, and he was at it again over the weekend. Marshall's disdain remained obvious Monday evening during his appearance as a guest host of "The Jay Cutler Show" on WMVP-AM 1000. ... "Borderline illegal," Marshall said of the Lions' defensive play. "And I'll say this, man. I'll attach my name to it. When I'm looking at film today, it was kind of disgusting to see their d-line go out of their way to knock our quarterbacks down after every single play. Ya know? The ball was gone. They're pushing him down. They're hitting him below the knee. It was kind of disgusting. So it seemed like it was game-planned. But it was borderline. You can't say it was illegal. But it was definitely one of those things where you say, 'Hey, we've got to pay attention to this.'"

It's not illegal but it is disgusting? Huh?!

I AM SICK of Brandon Marshall... For the life of me I do not understand why the media is suddenly latching on to all of his words like he's Bernanke or somebody... He's the posterboy for the NFL rookie symposium.

Remember when football was a contact sport and players actually EXPECTED to be hit? How I miss that game...

You know, I was not wild about the Bears acquiring him initially, and mostly for the rookie symposium posterboy factor. However, he's been keeping himself out of trouble, he's been lights-out on the field, and he's had some thoughtful stuff stuff to say about locker room culture and mental illness (of which he freely discusses his own struggles)... but to each their own.

As far as any suggestions of the Lions D being dirty? Well, that's not exactly news now, is it?

I too hate def. when they hit you and stop you from doing what you want. I agree what they did to cutler should have been illegal. Picking him off in the endzone, arrest that man. Sacking him, those guys should be barred.

Dont mention at all the at bears should work in the laundry business, they kept stafford's jersey pressed, and clean as the fresh fallen snow.

Morning Mel... Let's not act like this guy is Socrates all of the sudden. "Thoughtful thoughts" usually come from good medication. Trust me on that, because this is one. He is starting a new trend of whining about all things football from the WR position. This is a new one on me. There is no such thing as "borderline illegal".

I recognize the Panthers front 7. The offense was held to 3 points in the second half... no turnovers though, so props for that.

Lions will beat the Steelers. As much as I don't care for them, the Lions aren't playing bad football right now.
