Gamesmanship from Weis

07:35 AM ET 11.13 | Charlie Weis has made the decision -- he's just not going public with it. Jake Heaps could be starting at quarterback Saturday for Kansas, "OR" it could be Montell Cozart. It's a secret [Weis] wants to keep within the walls of KU's football practice facility for the next few days. "I know who's starting at quarterback," Weis said. "Why should I tell (West Virginia)?" When Weis released the Jayhawks' depth chart at his weekly news conference Tuesday, there was an "OR" below Jake Heaps' name, placed to the left of Cozart's name. The message: One of the two will start against the Mountaineers on Saturday. The advantage, Weis said, to keeping his starting quarterback listed as an "OR" is to slow West Virginia's preparation for the Jayhawks. He said the Mountaineers will have to pay attention to three different options for KU's quarterback spot.

This is not quite the same thing as a schematic advantage.

Watched with some friends in a bar. Sparty looked good. KY confused, but having said that I would not want to play KY in March. These youngsters (Randle) will be seasoned by then.

It's an avi bet. 0-6 showed up early at the Haus, but haven't seen him since. Nice avi, worth a look.

If KY gets bit by the injury bug, though, they're dang thin and it'll hurt.

Hopefully, he's just taking a nap (guy is up shortly after 4 AM ET). No more health problems, 0-6. That's an order!

So was Larry's jump shot.

Is this all Weis has for his "schematic advantage?" This old trick fools nobody, no even WVa's combover HC and their matador D which will likely win on Saturday. This arrogant SOB now has a 38-45 HC record and is 3-18 at Kansas and yet to win a Big-12 game. In fact his only wins thus far at Kansas are against two Div II teams (S. Dakota St. & S. Dakota) and a poor La Tech team. His specialty the Jansa offense is ranked 119th in the nation. I think his days are numbered as a HC.

this gamesmanship should make ALL the difference...

Crappy coach = crappy team. Weis' tenure at KU is circling the drain.
