Cammalleri to the Bolts' rescue?

07:38 AM ET 11.13 | After yet another loss, there was no sugarcoating it. "Too little, too late here again," said Calgary Flames winger Michael Cammalleri in the aftermath of Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the San Jose Sharks. Sure, the Flames earned a point thanks to a third-period comeback in which they scored a couple of hard-working, smart-play goals. Sure, they somehow regrouped in the final frame despite being down by a pair and outshot by a 28-6 margin in the first 40 minutes. But there was nothing to celebrate. ... Just wondering, would the Tampa Bay Lightning have interest in Cammalleri with Steven Stamkos on the shelf for a long time due to that broken leg? Cammalleri's strong start, including eight goals in 11 games, could make him the sniper the Lightning may need to stay in the hunt [in the Eastern Conference].

Sure, why not. He did so well the last time he headed east...

If he hasn't rescued the Flames, what makes anybody think he'll rescue the Bolts or any other team?

A Yougo? I think those hideous things are banned even in the former kingdom of Yugoslavia. How about a Lada or a Tata Nano?

Not only that, why would the Flames want to trade away their top goal scorer? How does that help the team?

I'm not sure that's in Feaster's job description.

Good point. Does he think his job is to get the team as many top draft picks as possible? That would explain a lot.
