Billups entering Cheeks' doghouse

07:15 AM ET 11.14 | After dropping a fourth straight game and allowing 113 points in the process, Maurice Cheeks said after Tuesday's loss that he would ponder lineup changes. The Warriors led by as many as 29 points. "Well, you have to think about it," Cheeks said. "That doesn't necessarily mean it's going to happen. But you have to give it some thought." ... One change might come in the backcourt when the Pistons face the Kings at Sacramento on Friday. After starting for the first seven games, Chauncey Billups only played six minutes before sitting the rest of the game with a sore knee. He looked overmatched trying to guard Warriors standout Klay Thompson, so that could open the door for Rodney Stuckey or even rookie Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who played well in 24 minutes against the Warriors.

Duh. If his knee is slowing him down than you have to make changes. You can't rely on a broken down old man to start for you...

Chauncy is one of those old dudes holding on for a pay check.

Everyone knew that Chauncey was on his last legs, so there should be no surprise there. What I'm still baffled by is how Maurice Cheeks got another head coaching job. I mean, after the "bang up" jobs previously.
