Lightning goalie on thin ice?
Is Lightning goalie Marc Denis on thin ice? The club could make a push to sign a veteran starter -- Phoenix's Curtis Joseph and Detroit's Dominik Hasek are options -- to allow 20-year-old prospect Karri Ramo another year of seasoning. Also an issue is what to do with Denis, who signed a three-year, $8.6-million contract after being acquired from Columbus last offseason.

What planet are you people on that you think this is "hot" news?? This has been known since before the playoffs, especially once Torts announced that Denis wasn't even going to dress for the playoffs that Ramo would back-up Holmer.

The Lightning are such an explosive team that all they need is a meteocre goalie to bring them to the playoffs. Oldies like Hasek and CuJo will not help the team, they will only put the team in trouble when either of them retire, if they don't retire after this year. It would be a good decision to keep Denis for now.

Tampa Bay should sign someone that is not over 40 years old. They need someone young. Ilya Bryzgalov can work for them, but I like him on Anaheim

Marc Denis is horible. This has been talked about. Trade Marc Denis for a good tendi. He shoundn't even be in the NHL. Get a Hasek or a Joseph for christ sake.
