07:30 AM ET 11.15 | As the visiting locker room at AT&T Center emptied, with most of his Wizards teammates having already headed to the bus, Nene slowly dressed. Slouched back, head lowered in disgust, the Brazilian big man was having a difficult time digesting the Wizards' latest loss to the San Antonio Spurs, a 92-79 defeat that was the most lopsided of the young season. ... "Our young guys must take their heads out their butts and play the right way because I'm getting tired of this," Nene said after the game while praising the unselfish play of the Spurs. ... "They help each other. It's amazing the way they play, simple basketball. I wish our young guys who think they know a lot of things, who think they are smart and they just got in the league. What make me mad, after a game like that, they look at stats."

This is a sign of players who have their priorities all wrong.

This is a cultural issue that only the team management can address.

What was Wall's stat again? Is he having an MVP type season? Will they make the playoffs? Talking before the season starts is never a good thing. Just go out there and play.

".. guys must take their heads out their butts .."

Words that we all, at some point, can relate to.

Beautifully said....

In fact....
I'm going to start yelling at some of my fellow posters for doing the same thing

I'm going to do the same to my co-workers.

And - considering I am in Texas and they are not - it should be quite effective.

If you want to talk franchise name changes in Washington D.C., the Wizards should embrace who they really are and change their name to the Generals.
