12:28 PM ET 11.16 | The Detroit Lions will have to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers without rookie defensive end Ziggy Ansah. He has been trying to recover from a high-ankle sprain suffered in Week 8. This will be the second consecutive game Ansah has missed. Ansah has recorded 19 tackles, three sacks and two forced fumbles in the game. Ansah was spotted with a walking boot on his left ankle on Tuesday. That had many expecting this news all week. The Lions might be all right without Ansah against the Steelers. The Pittsburgh offense ranks No. 27 on the ground. They're better through the air, however. That means the Lions will start Devin Taylor and Willie Young at defensive end.

It doesn't matter. Ben can't shrug off sacks like he used to. Detroit will hit him early and often.

27-10 Detroit.

Ansah??? What was the question?

You'd think with a name like that I'd have heard of him, but no.

He hasn't done much this year - not even sure why this merits an article.

But then again, Jason Pierre-Paul, aka the player Ziggy Ansah was heavily compared to on draft day, didn't produce much his rookie year either. There's a lot of raw athleticism there in need of technique.

Ziggy, get a large bucket. Fill it with ice water. Put your foot in a plastic bag to avoid frost bite. Keep foot in bucket for 20 minutes or until you can't stand it. Them dump out the wate and add hot, very hot water. Put the foot back in the bucket, keep it there for 20 minutes. Repeat this several times.
Your ankle will heal twice as fast as you force blood in and out of the tissue. Its an old football injury trick. PS this does nothing for stretched ligaments. Only sprains.
