As his NBA comeback bid gathers momentum, [Odom] has traveled to Rhode Island to work out with renowned superstar trainer, Rob McClanaghan, league sources told Yahoo Sports. ... [Odom] is working out daily with McClanaghan in the Ryan Center on campus in Kingston, R.I. The Rhode Island basketball team is on the road in Arizona for the Preseason NIT. Odom's professional and personal life had hit significant turbulence in recent years, spiraling with arrests and bouts with substance addiction. McClanaghan has several superstar clients, including Chicago's Derrick Rose, Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant, Minnesota's Kevin Love and Golden State's Stephen Curry. McClanaghan lives in Rhode Island.

Normally - I don't stoop to wishing failure on players in any sport or endeavor.

In this case, though - I am more than happy to make an exception.

He has hired Mayor Ford as his Life Coach

What's left in the tank? I thought he would at least try harder to get back with the Lakers, I guess the Lakers were not that interested in Odom after his recent activities. I don't know if Rivers will use him effectively; considering Rivers don't use Barnes that much, Rivers is an 7 or 7 player coach; his rotation does not change much.

Normally I don't want him to come back but I hope he goes back to the Lakers. Clippers don't need him right now.

Read headline, not story.

If in shape and focused, I doubt Odom is more than a 9th or 10th man.
