07:31 AM ET 11.19 | Khyle Marshall does the little things, which is to say just about everything that doesn't include putting up big numbers. He is the seasoned senior content to toil in the spotlight or outside it, a 6-6 swingman who plays with effort you can't teach and smarts you can't fake. "He makes game-changing plays, hustle plays, winning plays," said Butler coach Brandon Miller, whose Bulldogs face Vanderbilt at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Marshall, one of only two players left from Butler's 2011 Final Four team, finds himself front and center this season despite what any box score can suggest: He is every bit the backbone of these Bulldogs. "Stats are stats," Marshall said after an early-morning practice Monday. "I have to worry about winning. Whatever it takes to win, whatever it takes."
