07:28 AM ET 11.21 | And down the stretch they come, as the Buckeyes have one home game before traveling to face the Wolverines on Nov. 30 -- the final two games of at least one star. Ohio State coach Urban Meyer met with the media following practice on Wednesday and provided his typical batch of news, notes and injury updates. Meyer said redshirt junior cornerback Bradley Roby plans to depart for the NFL following the season, and that it shouldn't come as a surprise. "We talked. He's going to move on," Meyer said. "That's all you ask. You don't ask for five years nowadays. Not probably. It's no secret. I think it's great for him and great for Ohio State." Quarterback Braxton Miller and linebacker Ryan Shazier -- both juniors -- also met with reporters and both players said they had yet to give thought to their own decisions.

Best get out now, before they have to batlle MSU for the East Division title next year. ;-)

Not a good year for Miller to come out....too many other high quality QBs will be in next year'
s draft.

I think Miller stays this year, and he should don't see him going befor the mid to late 2nd round at best this yr.

Roby on the other hand is 1st round material in this yrs. draft

I wonder about that one, too, JM. One concern for next season will be a depleted OL. Won't be as much experience up front as Miller enjoys right now. He might bolt as well despite the wealth of QB talent entering the NFL draft after this season.

Ditto

Btw I responded on the last Buckeye post to you.

Please acknowledge. Thx

Don't think so. He may have started the yr as a first round projection but he has been torched by several WR he was assigned to.

Unless he comes on here thru bowl game and impresses @ Combine he will not go first rd. IMO

Denard Robinson is that you!?

No. S/he's a troll formerly known as Bearcat74 and MikeMack. If the pattern repeats, s/he'll post something that will cause the mods to 86 the account, and s/he will get yet another email address to open yet another FN user account.

Braxton Miller cannot play in the NFL. Not smart enough to play NFL QB or talented enough. Punt returner maybe or a wedge buster.

Another Tim Tebow?

No, it is Braxton's academic advisor.

Ok, Bucknuts, is Miller really ready for the NFL? I've only watched him play a handful of times, so I'm askin' those in the know. Is Miller really that good? Has he met the high expectations he had, coming into college? BB, WAMU, Harley, river - FN's tOSU roll call, lol - has Miller got the goods or what?

EWO good to see you here and not on the JW threads.

I will give you my two cents. BMiller is definitely a more polished quarterback than last yr. Numbers not only support that conclusion but his mechanics and rotation on the ball support it too. That being said, I think he should remain to improve his stock. Too many other good qb's coming out this yr (JFF, Bridgewater, Murray, Mett, Mariota, Hundley) the list is endless it seems.

BM as you know missed 3 games so his gross numbers keep him under the radar. If he were a running back I think he would be getting the same level of attention. His moves in the open field are already legendary. But as a passer it still seems to me like he is inconsistent. He has had some unbelievable statistical games and then he has Northwestern & Illinois games where you just cannot reconcile the discrepancies.

Tune in to the B1G championship game or TSUN if you get a chance. He is one hell of an athlete.

Not even ready for CFL!
