Kings showcasing Jimmer

07:33 AM ET 11.22 | At long last, Jimmer Fredette is getting his shot. In the first three weeks of his third NBA season, [Fredette] seemed to be yet another former college star who couldn't dominate as a professional. ... He was out of the regular rotation, spending most game nights cheering for teammates rather than being cheered. But that has changed in the past two games as the Kings seek consistent shooting and playmaking. ... And while first-year general manager Pete D'Alessandro and the new coaching staff hadn't seen enough of Fredette to pick up his contract option for next season, he'll show the Kings -- and other teams -- what he can do if he gets consistent playing time. "I feel like I'm ready and I'll keep getting better," Fredette said.

Don't Let The Door Hit You On The way Out, Bro.

Ya right! 2 years should be enough to see what this guy is like. He also had his chances. Coaches will play players who they think will give them their best chance to win.

Jimmer is Adam Morrison Part Deux.

QUOTE(#4):

Some guys that aren't athletic enough need more time to find out how to compete at this level. JJ Redick was the same way his first couple of years but he was able to find his place.

They're both athletic but both had different roles in college. JJ was so use to coming off picks and making shots while Jimmer had the ball in his hands most of the time and he had the freedom to chuck it all over the place.

The Kings are "Showcasing" the 'Jimmer'? What does that mean; he's getting 15 minutes a game instead of 10?

Can you spell BUST bro?

He's not even worth 2 SECOND round picks!

I'd like the guy on my team. He can shoot the lights out of the ball and would be a good, consistent bench contributor.

Come on the Pistons. We need a 3 pt. sniper.

I'm sure the Timberwolves could use another white guy on their roster. I miss the David Kahn days.

That is crazy talk. Do not question the genius that is Jason Kidd.
