09:38 AM ET 11.24 | If it were still up to Wayne Gretzky, he'd send Canadiens defenceman P.K. Subban to Sochi for the Olympics in February. The hockey legend and former executive director of Team Canada was asked by TSN whether he thought the young blueliner was worthy of wearing the maple leaf. "I'm not going to get in the middle of that controversy because (current executive director) Stevie Yzerman obviously knows what he's doing, he won a gold medal in 2010," said Gretzky, who also won gold when he was boss in 2002. "That's the greatest thing about our game, there's so many good players. If you take P.K. Subban you're going to win a gold medal, obviously that's a big part of the success of our country is we have so many good players and so much depth."

Bylsma better get the Pens interested in playing hockey again, or he's going to be out of a job. It's been a while since they actually played a good complete game.
