07:21 AM ET 11.25 | After the offense put up all of six points, Andre Johnson had little interest in sugarcoating things. He was asked for his assessment of [Sunday's] 13-6 loss to the once-bottom feeding Jacksonville Jaguars. "We suck," he said, then continued after a pause. "As an offense. That's pretty much it." Johnson entered the game with 890 catches. He finished it with 892. A week after visible frustration on the sideline and audible frustration in the Texans' locker room after the game, he caught two passes for 36 yards. Quarterback Case Keenum targeted Johnson six times, once on a pass so high that a powerful hit by a Jaguars defensive back knocked the ball from Johnson's hands. Asked if this was the toughest time for the franchise, something he's answered before, Johnson said it was.

Anyhow, the locker room was pretty universal in that belief and the local talking heads are already speculating on the new coach and 1st round QB selection next Spring.

Texans need to hope the Jag's win another game and that way they can get the top pick maybe in the draft and draft Mr. Football Manzel.

November 25, 2013  08:38 AM ET

Looks like the Texans want the #1 pick more than the Jags do.

It's been noted that the Jags can't do anything right - even lose.

When you suck, you suck. (To paraphrase George Costanza).

Oooh, the Pats get the Texans next week. I didn't see that as an easy game at the start of the season.

Its going to be desperate people playing for their jobs.

They haven't been doing that so far. Unless they want to be **** spaniels, "roll over and play dead" isn't much to put on your resume.

I don't suppose this site will let us discuss British vocalist Joe ****, either.

With thier sights set on getting the #1 draft pick, the saying around the Texans is "Get ready for Teddy". (Bridgewater)
