Kidd benches everyone

07:25 AM ET 11.25 | In this case, New Jersey has a different way to play small ball with the roster. The $189 million Nets began the fourth quarter Sunday against the Pistons with Tyshawn Taylor, Alan Anderson, Tornike Shengelia, Mirza Teletovic and Mason Plumlee on the floor together. And it wasn't because they were down by 30 points, as they were when coach Jason Kidd trotted out the same five players to begin the fourth quarter in Minnesota Friday night. Instead, it was a clear statement from Kidd the way his starters have been playing ... isn't going to cut it. "They deserved to play," Kidd said of the bench unit after his team lost 109-97 to Detroit, sending the Nets to their fifth straight loss and eighth in their last nine games. "I should have let them play the whole quarter. They're playing, you know, for one another."

It all starts with their leader. Kidd should have benched himself.

Jason Kidd is doing a helluva job with the Nets. He is setting the coaching standards that I aspire to.

The Russian didn't learn a lesson from other super teams who put aging stars together. They lack energy from a young star.

They are the Lakers 2.0Starting Center........Injured.Starting PG...........Injured.Sad way for Garnett to end his career.

Yup... I think this team is worse because they really went way over the cap and traded every picks they have. And they're stuck w/ all of these max and aging players.

All I can say is LMAO!
Coach Kidd?
That itself pretty much sums it up!

This is why I've always maintained DWill is over rated. he's mostly hurt, and when he isn't, at best he's a freaky statistical player that hasn't done a whole lot to put him consistently as a "top 5" or even "top 3" PG, as the media does it so often. What exactly has DWIll accomplished in his career that people keep putting him right next to CP3 (whom I have similar questions of, as well)? Clearly Parker, Rondo and even Conley have meant more to their teams than DWill ever has.

KG PP picked the wrong horse to end their career. Good thing they already have a ring and this isn't their first rodeo. JJ seems like the best player on this team, which makes them Hawks 2.0.

No really.

KG is a fairly classless individual. If I were to 'feel' bad for anyone, it's be Pierce.

KG? I chuckle (and sometimes LOL) when I think of our well he's fairing in Brooklyn.

What has CP3 done to put himself next to Tony Parker?

DWill = Tony Romo of the NBA. All stats but no wins to back it up.

It was obvious this team wouldn't be that good when they built them over the Summer. Some on here thought they would be contenders."It's still early!!!"

I'm guilty just like I was guilty w/ the Lakers...
