07:33 AM ET 11.25 | Yes, Georgia Southern. The University of Florida has no plans to fire Will Muschamp, even after a monumental loss to Georgia Southern, a source close to the program told the Sentinel on Sunday. However, significant changes to Muschamp's coaching staff are expected after Saturday's season finale against Florida State. UF senior administrator Steve McClain later told the Sentinel Sunday night athletic director Jeremy Foley stands by his endorsement of Muschamp. The Gators are mired in a six-game losing streak following Saturday's 26-20 loss at home to Georgia Southern, the first non-Football Bowl Subdivision school to beat Florida in football. The Eagles, a longtime time FCS power headed to the Sun Belt Conference next season, rushed for 429 yards against the Gators' defense.

I guess us Gator fans are gonna have to get used to this kinda stuff. <sigh>

I sure liked it a lot better when people were bashing us back in '08 and '09.

Not too sure about that. Turnarounds sometimes take a while (MSU, for instance), but I believe da Gadduhs just need the right corch to make an Auburn-like turnaround. Pretty sure your team has talent, just needs leadership.

Looks like we gonna get a daily gaduh/muschamp thread for a while.

I think schools like UF, Zero U, UTx, USC, etc can turn things around faster than others. The less the name brand the longer it takes.

Now, in hoops, it is an entirely different story. You can turn them around quick if you are willing to wallow in the AAU coach/handler cess pool. JMO.

Nice name change.

That game was a perfect storm of bad time management, lack of aggressive playcalling, poor execution, and undisciplined play.

There is a pic going around the interwebs of 1 blocker on the ground, 3 blocking no one, and 2 blocking each other.

I'm guessing that a new OC will be a part of the change as the offense has under performed (or to be blunt it sux).

And I am sure melt down time is going to be hilarious

Florida was riddled with injuries. 10 players injured and out for the year. Well, Georgia Southern had 19 players injured and out for the year. And, as an FCS team, they are only allowed 65 scholarships to begin with. So Florida was healthier and deeper than Georgia Southern.
