Everyone on the block in Florida?

07:35 AM ET 11.25 | So, who's next? Three teams say there is a lot of chatter and most of it is coming from the Sunshine State. After sending [Kris Versteeg] back to the Hawks, Florida GM Dale Tallon isn't done. He'd like to move RW Scottie Upshall, LW Tomas Fleischman, RW Brad Boyes, RW Tomas Kopecky, C Marcel Goc and C Shawn Matthias before the deadline. There is a market for D Dmitry Kulikov with lots of teams interest, but he may bolt for the KHL. Upshall and Fleischmann are immoveable because of their contracts but Tallon may find someone to take Goc, Kulikov and Matthias off their hands before the deadline. The Panthers wanted to move Versteeg so badly they picked up $6 million in salary and I'm told by a NHL executive Tallon is "open for business. He's even willing to take on cash."

QUOTE(#1):

Leafs are also a match for Kevin Bieksa, and that's a possibility that wouldn't shock me in the least given Vancouver's lack of offence.

Offense? Was that offense I saw against the Caps on Saturday?

What in the world do the Leafs have that the Nucks might want?

Everyone on the block in Florida?

My feelings on some "NHL Locations" are well known, but this is a major part of why they won't ever be a bona fide success, (as opposed to a a semi-qualified one). It seems foolhardy enough to try to build a fanbase from mainly retirees in a climate not conducive to the sport to start with. But to then throw a 2nd rate or even (at best) up and down club into it, with ownership that seems not to care, just makes it worse. The NHL management (an oxymoron if ever there was one) should just realise the error, admit the mistake and move a couple and condense a couple (e.g. Tampa Bay/Fla as one club up to Quebec) it would make the league better

QUOTE(#5):

The deeper into the season we get, the more I think Leafs management is realizing that he's not the answer. As captain, as first-pair defenceman, as a guy eating that many minutes. Nonis may not like advanced stats (and neither do I), but the most rudimentary measuring sticks in hockey are painting a pretty ugly picture of what Phaneuf brings to the team.

You want Girardi?

But thats okay though, at least find out now before he becomes an UFA; and then hopefully come July Nonis politely declines his contract demands and lets him walk.

be careful, you are walking a fine line here. Dolan and Sather are exactly role models in this league.

It's hard to stop yourself when you know your team is a piece or two away from actually being a legitimate threat and you have circus sideshows like Celine there to do their best to make a mockery of it all.

better hurry, at some point, the odds of 50 shots of rubber a game will begin to work against you.

Hurry!

to be certain , (I'm thinking you meant NOT EXACTLY) but the base is as loyal as it gets, and Sather has had a few good moments
But regardless, there is no comparison
