07:16 PM ET 11.25 | Rousimar Palhares has been unemployed since the UFC released him following an unsportsmanlike situation after a win over Mike Pierce at the beginning of October. Palhares held on to a submission hold too long after Pierce tapped out, so he got his walking papers as a repeat offender. It looked like Palhares was going to have trouble finding a new home after the likes of Bellator and World Series of Fighting said that they were not interested, but he is finally out of the unemployment line after one of the promotions had a change of heart. According to reports, World Series of Fighting has agreed to sign the controversial welterweight. WSOF could not be reached for comment, but the news was confirmed from a person close to the situation. There is currently no word on when and where Palhares will make his World Series of Fighting debut, along with no word of a potential first opponent.
