07:20 AM ET 11.26 | Oct. 7 seems like a long time ago for Jets rookie quarterback Geno Smith, who on that Monday night led Gang Green to a win in Atlanta. [Rex Ryan] said Monday he is sticking with Smith as his starter for Sunday's game against Miami (5-6), despite Smith committing six turnovers (five picks) in the past two games. (The NFL changed the scoring Monday on Smith's botched-snap fumble against the Ravens, and charged center Nick Mangold with the fumble.) Ryan said Smith's starting status is not guaranteed, because "if a guy is struggling, anybody can get benched." The coach did not mince words while saying "we've got to get more production out of the quarterback position." But he also said Smith's recently meager stat line "doesn't paint the whole picture."

All one more start is going to show is that Smith is just another college QB who lacks the mental and physical skills to succeed in the NFL.

That Atlanta game doesn't look all that impressive in retrospect....the Falcons stink!

Which was what was being said on draft day.

Earlier in the year, we all thought a victory over Atlanta proved something. It doesn't.

Now, let's see which of these 5-6 teams can emerge victorious.

Can dolphins yawn? They're mammals, you know.

Yes, with plenty of free time on his hands. He lost a bet and now his hair makes him look like James Franco's "Alien."

Hey, I for one am glad Rex keeps starting Geno. I am cleaning up here betting against Geno. These guys in the office keep thinking he is going to break out! I am laughing all the way to the bank.

1 TD and 10 ints, plus a few fumbles in the last 13 quarters.
