Toronto goaltender's stock sinking quickly

07:38 AM ET 11.26 | The Maple Leafs submitted perhaps their worst effort of the season, and James Reimer felt it. His save percentage dropped from .947 to .934, but judging by the home crowd, [Reimer's] stock dipped considerably further. With the club spinning his league-best numbers as a positive before the game, knowing that wonky defensive play has often overworked both goalies this year, the dam burst. Six goals on 21 Columbus shots were the result, with Reimer hearing it the most from 19,241 disgruntled fans at the ACC. "You take the good with the bad," Reimer said of the jeering and a mock cheer when Jonathan Bernier made his first save in relief. "They're the ones who pay the money and want to see a team work their hardest. You're going to have nights where the puck just eludes you."

Check the source. From making 49 saves one game and being God's gift to goaltending to having an off game the next one, the Sun comes up with this?? Fickle press and some very fickle fans.

There are some teams that would love to have either of TO's goalies.

Anyway, to make Canuck and the rest of the Canada-based Leaf haters upset, Saturday nights (and every other night) just got much, much better for you, unless of course you immensely dislike Sportsnet: http://tinyurl.com/nqgr3psThe basics:-HNIC stays on CBC, but CBC loses first pick for games.-Rogers now has all playoff and Stanley Cup Finals rights (goodbye great montages).-Rogers gets the NHL Draft.-No regionalization of games or blackouts - we get to see ALL games broadcast across the country (explains why Rogers has been buying sports stations left right and centre)Frankly, this is amazing if it weren't for the fact that Sportsnet is terrible.

Oh baby!

(goodbye great montages)

Danny, seeing Kessel score either of his goals in the last dozen games is not "great montage". :)

You're very cruel, Canuck!

For a moment there I thought the Leafs traded for Deva Dubnyk.

I would say a chimp but then that would be insulting to chimps!

Don't worry, they got the Pens coming up. They will make any goalie look like Patrick Roy! Stock will go up!

He's too busy coughing up the puck. Check back in a week.

He might want to see somebody about that Danny.

It's a nasty cough.
