07:10 AM ET 11.27 | Joe Flacco took the occasion of his Tuesday press conference to criticize Baltimore's use of the Wildcat. Saying it made the Ravens look like a "high school" offense, Flacco sent a not subtle message that he hoped the Wildcat would be shelved for Thursday night's crucial game against the Steelers. "I don't like that stuff," Flacco said. "I think it makes you look like a high school offense. That's just my opinion." Asked if he had expressed that opinion to the Ravens' coaches, Flacco said, "They know how I feel about it." Asked if he expected to see the Wildcat again, Flacco said, " I don't think so." The Ravens may face a delicate issue, wanting to utilize backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor's skills, but knowing Flacco will be unhappy when Taylor is used in the Wildcat.

Or maybe the Ravens coaches are.

But he's got no problem that the Ravens wear those black yoga pants for their uni's.

Flacco is wacko

Joe is a little sensitive right now. Ray lewis gave him the back of his hand when he said recently he is a system QB who is ok if the offense is "balanced." He also said the defense bailed him out in the past.

I hear Flacco is tapped to star in "High School Musical: The Ravens Edition."

Flacco has always been sensitive. He is the most overpaid QB in the league. he hates the wildcat because he's on the sideline and wants to hoard all the snaps. He's not really a team player. To Flacco, it's all about Flacco. Nothing else...

cosidering they've only been able to run the ball one game this season, yes, they are.

who said he was elite other than 1 or 2 talking heads on TV?

exactly.

people laughed at Eli when he said he thought he was one of the best QB's in the NFL. same w /Flacco and then both won rings after that.

you may hear Baltimore fans say he's a good QB but maybe .01% think he's elite and after this season so far (albeit w/ no running game, no TE, one good WR and a terrible o-line) that .01% may be down to 0% and i think that's right; it should be.

Caldwell has done his best Cam Cameron impersonation this year w/ the offense. Just with less end-arounds, basically...

you are 100% right; i love the black uniforms but the pants need a stripe or something. they look ridiculous the way they are...

There should be a rule that QB's who suck should seen and not heard.

says the guy who probably just sees highlights/lowlights and follows box scores only. i've seen every snap of every Ravens game this season. Flacco does not "suck", thank you.

not really; he just answered a question that he was asked and he was honest about it.

uh, not really. and i would say that Eli manning, with a cap figure of about $25M this season is the most over paid, 2 rings or not.

and if you actually watched the Ravens game you would know that in the wildcat he's on the field, not on the sideline. so you are wrong again on that.

Flacco is most definitely a team player; he wants to throw the ball because he's getting paid to throw the ball and he wants to win, period. He has never put himself above the team and i'm sure any player, coach or the owner would say the same. That's just not his personality, period.

wait, are you still mad about the Super Bowl? is that what this is about? because i can assure you that the Niners will win at least 1 SB with Harbaugh and Kaepernick. And i would love you guys to win a 6th SB so you would be even w/ our mouthbreathing AFCN neighbors NW of here. Then the rest of the league's fanbases would stop hearing about how they are tops when it comes to Lombardis.
