Woodson trying to run Shumpert out of town?

07:15 AM ET 11.27 | Maybe Mike Woodson and Iman Shumpert didn't kiss and make up Tuesday, but it seemed the pair come to an understanding. The Knicks coach angrily denounced the notion he doesn't like Shumpert, saying it's "bulls???t" after the two spoke during practice. Woodson's salty comments came one day after Shumpert played what may have been the worst game of his NBA career in Portland, when it looked as if he had quit on his coach. Woodson has been highly critical of Shumpert since preseason began, when he started eyeing J.R. Smith as a starter to replace Shumpert. Knicks president Steve Mills had spoken to several teams about the Georgia Tech defensive guard, fueling belief Woodson is trying to run him out of town following the summer-league fiasco when Shumpert played in just one game.

Please! The Knicks have much deeper problems than Iman Shumpert. If I owned the team I would probably fire everyone with the exeption of maybe, possibly Shump.

We need Rondo like we need a bag on our hip. No thanks. He's your problem. Keep him. We already have plenty of problems of our own.

Why would you trade Rondo for Shumpert? If Shumpert was that great then teams would have been lining up to trade for him.

I don't think the Knicks could run anything at this point, offensively, defensively and/or including running someone out of town..

Better to find a player to blame so that Woodson can keep his job longer.

That's the problem with nearly all the trades fannation posters make here. They are nonsensical.

And we have a winner!!!

If Shumpert was so damn good as the Knicks and their fans thinks he is. Then 29 other teams would be breaking down the door and giving the Knicks what ever they wanted for this guy.

All I see is a good young player, but not a all-star. The Knick will only get a 1st round draft pick and a player that's a 7th of 8th man on the depth chart.

The Knicks are not going to get a unprotected 1st round pick for Shumpert. Nor will they get a All-Star or franchise player for Shumpert.

The Knicks roster is in shambles. No real system in place at all. If they don't make the playoffs which is a real possibility and land in the top 5 in the draft it would be a great start to fixing the mess that is in New York.
