07:19 AM ET 11.27 | With all of West Virginia's troubles at the quarterback position, fans in Morgantown are wondering if Dana Holgorsen will stray from his one-QB-per-class policy for 2014. Last week, that question was answered when the Mountaineers began to show interest in Riverside (Calif.) City College signal-caller Skyler Howard. "I got a call from my high school coach and he said that Coach [Shannon] Dawson [WVU's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach] was going to call me in the next day or so," said the 6-foot, 205-pound prospect. "He called me about an hour later and we talked about my situation." His "situation" is that of a fast-rising quarterback target among college coaches. A former walk-on at Stephen F. Austin, Howard transferred to Riverside and quickly took over the starting job.

I agree...at least in CFB.

Only two I can think of that are worse are the owners of the Cowboys and Redskins.

Lots of talk about UTx going after a JUCO QB for next year considering the situation with Ash and a bunch of recruits with no experience. The problem is there are no Bo Wallace's out there at least not that can be easily seen.

The kid was a back up at Stephen F. Austin before heading to community college, and has -0- D1 football offers.

Here we go again.

120 D1 programs and we can't get a kid who has a dozen D1 offers? Geez.
