07:24 AM ET 11.27 | Congratulations are in order for Wild defenseman Ryan Suter, and not, at least this time, for leading the National Hockey League in minutes played. I've wanted to write about this for some time, but respectfully, [Suter] didn't want to discuss this publicly until after today's news conference to announce that he has joined the ownership group of the new Madison Capitols, which will join the USHL next fall. Below is the press release. As of now, there is no update as to Zach Parise's injured foot and as I mentioned last night, there's a good chance that news won't come until Wednesday morning. The Wild [had Tuesday off] and Parise's seeing the docs.

USHL being the only true Tier I Jr. league in the US is turning into a scholie factory for kids. Good for him.

With the money the Wild are handing over to him, Suter can buy his own tropical island complete with a bunch of sun tanned babes running around wearing nothing but a smile.

Nice to see he is putting some of the money they are giving him back into the community. (Insert caustic comment about his play with the Wild here.)

Lmao!

Yeah it's funny to see how little he's done since joining his home team, and too bad as they've had some great goaltending from Harding this season.
