03:08 PM ET 11.27 | The Cleveland Browns have had some bad luck at the quarterback position this season, with Brian Hoyer suffering a season-ending ACL tear and Jason Campbell suffering a concussion last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The injuries have forced the Browns to circle back to former first-round pick Brandon Weeden, who has struggled during his time as the starter. There was still some hope that Jason Campbell would be able to recover from his concussion in time to lead the Browns' first-team offense onto the field Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but those hopes have ended. Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski confirmed on Wednesday that Weeden would be the team's starter in Week 13. Campbell is still going through the NFL-mandated concussion protocol it is doubtful that he will be able to suit up this weekend. To add some quarterback depth, the Browns signed trick-shot quarterback Alex Tanney off the Dallas Cowboys practice squad. If Campbell is inactive, Tanney will be Weeden's backup on Sunday.

Clearly the QB situation in Cleveland is far from being dealt with.

What is CLEAR is that if Brandon Weedon can not lead the Browns to a victory over the lowly Jaguars, he'll be lucky to even find a bench warming gig in the NFL next season.
