Weeden hearing the negativity, loud and clear

07:26 AM ET 11.28 | It's no fun being Brandon Weeden these days in Cleveland, where his mere presence on the football field seems to offend. [Weeden] can't even step onto the field at FirstEnergy Stadium anymore without being booed by Browns fans, so keeping a positive mindset might be the greatest challenge he's facing. Weeden will return to the starting lineup Sunday when the Browns (4-7) host the Jacksonville Jaguars. ... "I've been through a lot," Weeden said. "I'd like to think I'm mature enough to handle all that stuff, but I learned a long time ago you can only control so much. Before I even throw a pass, I still get booed. You have to laugh it off and use that as positive reinforcement, use it as ammo to go out and play well."

As a Viking fan, even I feel bad for Cleveland's QB stable.

Stoopid Browns should have used all those draft picks to build the lines and supporting cast instead of wasting 4 of them on 2 skill players, 1 of which is no longer on the team. So this year they'll draft another QB and put him behind a crappy supporting cast. Epic fail.

They did manage to unload richardson. That is one wrong that could be righted.

Well they depleted their team by trading away players. It should be interesting to see how they do in the 2014 draft.

If he's using it as ammo to play well he's firing blanks.

"use it as ammo to go out and play well."

Well if that is your attitude Weedon, THEN WHY ARE YOU PLAYING SO BADLY!! NOTHING has helped you LEARN or play better this whole season. I am simply convinced this guy is simply not that bright. He does not learn!!
