07:33 AM ET 11.28 | Free-agent forward Lamar Odom may yet have another LA story in him. The Clippers remain interested in [Odom] and continue to monitor his progress. Odom played last season for the Clippers. During the summer, he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, and there were rumors of drug use. Clippers Coach Doc Rivers said he plans on staying in touch with Odom. ... [Odom] is expected back in Los Angeles this week, said one executive. The plan is for Odom to visit the team's practice facility this week, according to people in the NBA who weren't authorized to speak publicly on the matter. It would be Odom's second visit this month. "I'm going to keep talking to him," Rivers said. "I don't know what our plans are yet. I like Lamar. I want him to be in the NBA. And if things go right, here."

Odom has been given enough chances to be a player in this league.....and blown them all. Obviously he doesn't want it bad enough to work for it.

Maybe Doc knows something that we don't know? Lamar Odom was the 'key' to last year's banner raising success. If they want to raise another one next year they need him on the roster.

QUOTE(#9):

...Doc is just getting silly for even thinking about doing this. Let Lamar go spend 6 months in rehab and then you can talk to him about coming back. You don't get off of something serious like crack with a 30 day or out patient program.

I don't know about signing him, ever but Lamar spending 6 months in rehab is probably the best thing that could happen in his life...

He knew that no one had ever beat his starting five in Boston yet bless the Perkins for Green trade.

And this is one of my favorite IWM comments ever.

I will forever yield the double zero 'dunk' positions to you...

QUOTE(#18):

Even that is no guarantee that he can beat his problem unfortunately. Having been close to a person struggling with that for years I can say that the only thing that really helped them was Jesus Christ. The guy went through multiple rehabs including spending most of a year in treatment facilities and he came out and was using again within 2 months. It took Jesus changing him from the inside for him to finally get his life back.

Agree 100% and couldn't have said it better. Wish I had in my previous comment though!
