10:11 AM ET 11.28 | It hasn't been pretty for the Washington Capitals this season, and it appears that everyone is finally becoming frustrated. The Capitals looked like they would be bouncing back on the right track when they stormed out to a two goal lead over the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday night, but the team crumbled and suffered their fourth straight loss. Now, head coach Adam Oates is chiming in on the team's continued struggles and he couldn't help venting. Off the ice, the fans are demanding improvement and ownership may have to shake things up quickly if they want to turn things around and remain relevant this season.

Sowing some wild Oates should help.

Oates talked about the need for management to shake things up. Be careful what you wish for, because it is much easier to fire a coach than it is to fire a team.

Maybe that's what he's hoping for? A Christmas wish? Or, a New Year's resolution?

Ahhh. Didn't look at that way. Oates is saying "Just shoot me and put me out of my misery." Sounds understandable.
