07:36 AM ET 11.29 | Going by the Thanksgiving lines from practice, it seems promotions have been awarded to Cody McLeod, who moved to the top line, and Patrick Bordeleau, who moved up to the third. Center Paul Stastny (back spasms) did not practice and will not travel with the team to Minnesota, where the Avs play the Wild in St. Paul on Friday afternoon. ... Roy wants to reward McLeod and Bordeleau -- who both began the season as fourth-liners -- and give Jamie McGinn a kick in the rear. Roy is not happy with McGinn, who has four goals and eight points in 20 games. "I expect more from him," Roy said. "Jamie needs to be better offensively, play with more grit in front of the net. He needs to be more physical, he needs to be better defensively."

Blew that one right by me. What are you talking about?

Roy looks like former Tampa coach Guy Boucher's twin. All he needs is the scar. And, he might have one before the season is over if he keeps pis*sing everybody off.

You know, McGinn, like in Roger McGuinn, a.k.a. Jim McGuinn of the singing group The Birds? "Turn, turn, turn." Ring a bell?

Hasn't slowed down the annual Black Friday Walmart Rumbles; maybe Roy is coaching them on shopping techniques.

All I know is that the Sabres just beat the Leafs....again. That's two of three this year. We have six wins all year and two vs the Leafs. Be proud Toronto...be proud !!

All this hate for St. Patrick yet most of the fans on here would be dancing with joy if their teams were 17-6-0. Hate all you want.... we'll take the W's.

The Avs are playing just fine. They don't seem to match up well with the Blues, and I don't think so hot with the Sharks but they have yet to play. The Avs are doing better than anybody expected. Roy is doing a good job.... they're a tough team to prepare for.
