07:03 AM ET 12.02 | Many of Houston's defensive players left Sunday's loss to the Patriots scratching their heads. The Patriots' offensive adjustments were too good at some points, in Texans defensive end Antonio Smith's estimation. "Either teams are spying on us or scouting us," Smith told a group of reporters. Smith said the Texans introduced new wrinkles into their defense this week. He said that even though the Texans had never done those things in prior games, which would mean they weren't on film, the Patriots knew they were coming before they happened. "I'm very suspicious," Smith said. "I just think it will be a big coincidence if that just happened by chance. I don't know for sure, but I just know it was something that we practiced this week."

HA! Sore loser

December 2, 2013  07:26 AM ET

Earlier this season, I though teams were cheating against the Redskins too... Then I realized we only have 10 plays. However, when it comes to the Patriots....Hmmmmmmmmm.

Good offensive performance. 31 points should be enough for a win, but D was terrible. Not sure which D is worse: Texans or Packers.

December 2, 2013  07:43 AM ET

Like losing 10 games in a row is not an issue? They are being spied on by aliens. what a dope!

...or Pats or Chiefs or Broncos...

If the Pats knew what the Texans were going to do, why wait until the second half to make adjustments?

December 2, 2013  08:12 AM ET

And don't give Brady any credit for making the right adjustments. What a tool!!!

December 2, 2013  08:17 AM ET

It was probably a new defensive wrinkle by Texan standards but I don't think there's much you can throw at Brady and BB that they haven't already seen over the years.

I don't think Smith has the intellectual subtelty to think of that.

December 2, 2013  08:49 AM ET

So the fact that the Texans are a horrible football team has nothing to do with it, right Antonio?

Exactly.

If your plan was to leave receivers uncovered and give Brady time to find them, then yes Mr. Smith, they knew your plan.

December 2, 2013  09:05 AM ET

Dumb comment by a dumb player.

December 2, 2013  09:14 AM ET

You've lost 10 in a row! Do you think that has anything to do with it?

I don't think Kubiak will need a pen and paper to fill out his resume.

He can do that online nbw.
