07:09 AM ET 12.02 | Based on its record, Golden State sure could use injured Andre Iguodala back in the lineup. Warriors coach Mark Jackson said Sunday that [Iguodala], who did not make the trip for Sunday's game against the Sacramento Kings, is getting "closer and closer" to returning. "We'll stay true to the process as usual and look forward to having him back," Jackson said of Iguodala, who suffered a strained left hamstring against the Lakers on Nov. 22. ... Harrison Barnes has excelled stepping in for Iguodala, but his move to a starting role has created a void on the bench. The Warriors have lost five of six games overall, including winning just one of their last four without Iguodala. "It's think it's pretty obvious," Jackson said before Sunday's game of the impact of Iguodala's absence.

Iggy is a very good player. Unfortunately it's usually his contracts that make him look bad, similar to Joe Johnson.

Should have kept Jack. Cheaper price and more important than Iggy.

Tough to win in the West without that consistency coming off the bench.

QUOTE(#1):

He'll keep breaking down, that's what older guys do

What about young guys like Stephen Curry, Derek Rose and Greg Oden, they keep breaking down early in the NBA.
