Oregon WR blasts snub on Twitter

07:28 AM ET 12.03 | Congratulations are in order for Oregon's Josh Huff -- even if he's unwilling to accept the applause. [Huff], named a Pac-12 honorable mention at wide receiver [Monday], has taken to Twitter to discuss his displeasure with the distinction. And statistically speaking, he has a point. Known for being outspoken, the senior said he felt "disrespected" by the nod and engaged on Twitter in a series of exchanges with fellow Ducks receiver Bralon Addison and lineman Tyler Johnstone, who both also were honorable mention selections. Pac-12 first team wide receiver choices were Oregon State's Brandin Cooks and Colorado's Paul Richardson. Second team selections were Stanford's Ty Montgomery and Arizona's Jaelen Strong. Based on receiving stats, a clear case could be made that Huff deserved consideration ahead of Montgomery.

Oregon? Oregon. I seen to recall a team called Oregon. Anybody help me here.

Oh yea, never mind, they are that ESPiN loved, over-hyped, one-trick video game team that is more relevant to Tommy Hilfiger than Tommy Football.

The ESPiN flavor of last month!

Yep. Thought he was going to Oregon to win a championship but forgot that they are all flash and no sizzle. Purdy uniforms changing every week, no defense and choke when the money is on the line. But hey, did I mention the nifty uniforms.

Dear Mr. Huff,
I feel disrespected by your incessant whining and self-centered views and your childish tweeting

What's the point in even hoping for an undefeated season anymore? All Bama does is win 11 games each year only to lose a game in November. Then they have to rely on other teams to lose just so they can play for a national championship. Luck has been on Bama's side during this "dynasty" and finally it's catching up. The coach that the UA pays millions of dollars for is, to put it lightly, a ****. He **** about the HUNH because he's "concerned about player safety". When in actuality he's afraid because it completely destroys his precious defense. All the 5* & 4* DBs, LBs, OL, DL, RBs, QBs & WRs aren't going to help when the game comes down to kicking FGs & your team always has the least clutch kickers in CFB. It's also not going to help when you run the ball on 3rd and short to get 0 yards & then try the same thing again hoping to catch the defense off guard. It's easy to blame the K or the Defense. When it's actually the coach & his staff. Maybe next year they'll go undefeated. More than likely they'll finish 11-1 though. It's their trademark, their MO, now. Instead of "Never Again"; it should be "Same ****, Different

Six million a year for this.

I feel like suicide bombing an animal shelter.

Saban called this game like a **** ****. I don't think we should get rid of him obviously but Jesus that was a terrible game. Absolutely terrible. **** life. We won two in a a row wich helps make this fell much better. I'm proud of this team but come on. We lose on a missed field goal that one player tried to stop.

Don't forget my friend that Oregon has a better won-loss record than your "over hyped" Buckeye team the last 5 years and Oregon has play in some pretty big game in the last 5 years, something that the Buckeyes haven't done. I usually don't like to go back 4/5 years, but the Buckeyes biggest win was the 2010 Rowl Bowl against the Ducks and Ohio State hasn't done much since. Oh yeah there have been undefeated the last two years, but they still haven't won a "big" since the 2010 Rose Bowl, unless you call the 2011 bowl against Arky a big win. You seem to always come back to that 2010 Rowl Game win, to rank on Oregon. :-)
