Munchak looks like a goner

07:25 AM ET 12.04 | The NFL is a tough business for coaches, one where from week to week the heat on a seat can change -- just ask Rex Ryan or Greg Schiano or Gus Bradley or Ron Rivera -- but the future may not be particularly bright for Mike Munchak in Tennessee. Looked like Munchak could find himself on the other side of the deal a few weeks ago. But Jake Locker's injury, coupled with an inability to get going on the offensive end, coupled with a season that will ultimately end up being disappointing, will probably cost him his job. He could stick around, for sure, but there hasn't been anything ultimately inspiriting about this Titans season. They've had multiple shots to get back into the AFC playoff hunt -- not to mention the AFC South divisional hunt -- and couldn't capitalize.

Former Oiler fans would concur.

Hasnt been a horrible season for Munchak

His tenure started to circle the drain when the Titans lost to the Jags. I think Bud would have canned him then and there.

Not so fast, a good coach is hard to find and they never had a Top QB, maybe Cutler next year? The GM has to do a better job.

Whoever decided that Jake Locker was worthy of the 8th pick in 2011 draft should be the goner.

I keep hoping for that, with the realization it's not gonna happen.

NFC - Minnesota, TB, Atlanta, and Washington
AFC - Tennessee, Jets, Pittsburgh, and Miami all of them could lose their jobs as head coach at the end of the season.

Whatever punishment comes down from the league to Mike Tomlin could help decide how much time he has left in Pittsburgh.
