07:41 AM ET 12.04 | The Blue Jackets beat Tampa Bay, 1-0, on Tuesday night, thanks in large part to the work of goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky. [Bobrovsky] had made 18 saves and was trending toward his second shutout of the season. But at 4:13 of the third, he used his glove to snuff out a J.T. Brown breakaway, then toppled to the ice and stayed there, flat on his belly. Roar. Then ... gulp. Bobrovsky was helped off the ice by two teammates, putting no weight on his left leg. An MRI awaits on Wednesday. "Obviously it was a leg injury, and when he comes out like that you're a bit unsure," Blue Jackets coach Todd Richards said. "I don't know if we'll have an answer today, but within the next few days we'll have a better idea (of how serious it is)." The Blue Jackets are not commenting further. Neither are those in Bobrovsky's camp.

Columbus and Edmonton: The tale of two cities. The Blue Jackets can beat anybody at any time with Bob in net. The Oilers can't beat anybody with Diva in net.

Too bad for Bobky. Hope he heals up quick.

Bobky and Bryzky are both hurting. Bad news for Jackets and Oilers.

... and they only played the Coyotes, for whom 6 goals in one Game is virgin territory.

Me too. I tried holding my breath, I still didn't get that extra piece of cake. 'Course I was only 5...

Holding your breath is always advisable if you are Bob-bing

If the Blue Jackets didn't have bad luck they'd have no luck at all. Feel bad for the team and their fans. Looks like another playoff-less season, too bad considering how well they played the second half of last season. From big expectations to big disappointment.

yup. thats the team that should've fired the coach and went with Torts. He wouldve at least got the most out of Dubinsky, Anisimov, Gabby and co. Wouldve at least made the dance.

The Jackets are holding their breath until they turn blue?

If they turned green they'd be mistaken for Dallas Stars.
