Rivers considering a move?

07:30 AM ET 12.05 | On Wednesday night, the subject of the Clippers current roster came up with head coach Doc Rivers, even though the trading deadline is not until Feb. 20. But teams usually begin discussing deals around Dec. 15, which is sort of an arbitrary date set by the NBA that allows free agents signed last summer to be traded. Rivers said "I wouldn't mind" keeping the same 14-man roster. "Obviously, you're always looking," he said. "But I like our team. So, I would be fine. I don't even think about that right now. It's too early in the year." Rivers not only is coach of the Clippers, but he is the senior vice president of basketball operations, meaning he's in charge of making any moves. If the Clippers do make a move soon, it'll probably be to sign free-agent forward Lamar Odom.

Doesn't sound like confidence in your team!

Don't know if any move will help the Clippers, the Clippers are a team that don't recognize urgency. This team play up and down to competition; the teams inside game is suspect (Blake nor Jordan) have a strong inside game and "ally oops" don't count as inside game. Look at Aldridge in Portland and that's what the Clipper need; a guy that can get his.

Sounds like he made moves in Boston also. I wonder who will he be trading? Redick? Sounds like 1 of the new guys because he is talking about Dec 15 start day for trading...

Try Moving Out Of Staples, Bro.

Welp...Looks like Paul is doing what he does....not making anyone that much better....Am i still the only one that sees that he isnt as great as ppl pump him to be....

They are weak at SG with Redick being hurt and Barnes was hurt too. That leaves more minutes for Dudley, Crawford, and Green. Unless he can get Turner or Deng I see no moves are going to be made. Their problem to me seems they don't have enough players that can get their own shot.

Doc Rivers better get his soft helmet prepped... It's only a matter of time before CP3 throws another coach under the bus...

He is great but a barely 6'0 PG can only do so much. Paul is having arguably his best year or as good as any PG has ever had. Blake has improved his game slightly not to the point where he can take over games.

He's no Magic or Isiah Thomas that's for sure...

The clippers need another star period.
If only they could nab Melo, am hearing he wants out of that Zoo York fiasco.

He does put in his numbers. But like I've always said, he hasn't really taken his team to anywhere significant. That's why I put Parker ahead of him any day.

What would they give up? Griffin?

They already have Amare.

December 5, 2013  09:21 AM ET

Of Course, Parker is ahead of him.
Rondo when healthy also, Lillard will soon overtake him as well as Wall.
