04:19 PM ET 12.05 | The UFC is set to put on one of their biggest shows in history on Dec. 28, with UFC 168. The event is headlined by a highly anticipated rematch between UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman and former title holder Anderson Silva, while a grudge match between Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate for the UFC women's bantamweight championship serves as the co-main event. With two big events headlining the card, the UFC is taking a page from boxing and raising the pay-per-view price - which is something that UFC president Dana White had previously said he would never do. The UFC had previously set their pay-per-view prices at $44.99 for standard definition and $54.99 for high definition, but they will be raising the price by at least $5.

54.99 is already too much... guess I'll just (continue to) go with the updates online... seriously.
